Warrior in the Wetlands
Held over the weekend, this duck hunt started with a Meet & Greet dinner at Granzellas in Williams, CA. On Saturday morning the veterans traveled to the flooded rice fields for the duck hunt. In the afternoon everyone gathered for a big BBQ lunch, and to hunt pheasant and chukars, and shoot skeet. On Saturday night, everyone reconvened at Granzellas for dinner, and the following morning we held one last duck hunt before everyone headed home.

Pig Hunt with Curtis Knappenberger
Last night, Tom took one of our local Air Force veterans on a pig hunt! They were successful in getting a nice meat hog. Tom thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Curtis and while they were on their hunt they got to see Tule elk and other wildlife on the reach. Tom and the Field of Dreams family all look forward to spending more time with Curtis and meeting his kids! Thank you for your continued service!
